A luxury family yacht, has an intriguing history. It all started in the early 1990s when O. Jay Call would buy and sale his first yacht named Mardiosa. Soon after selling Mardiosa, Mr. Call realized just how much he missed being on the ocean fishing and relaxing with his family. It wasn’t long before Mr. Call commissioned Barattucci Yachts to custom build a new yacht. And thus, plans were made, and construction started, the new yacht would be christened, Fun Runner. Unfortunately, Mr. Call would never see Fun Runner cruising the oceans, his children picked up where he left off, and soon Fun Runner was cruising oceans from Panama to Alaska entertaining family and friends all along the way. In 2014, after many good years, and countless hours of entertaining, it was time to take Fun Runner into dry dock for an overhaul. By this time Fun Runner is owned by Thad and Ronda Call. Thad and Ronda searched endlessly to find the right team to transform Fun Runner into Mardiosa. With the team in place, Fun Runner was stripped down to the skeleton, naval engineers added another 10 feet to the vessel, gyro stabilizer added, state of the art navigation and media system installed, and the interior finished with the finest and most luxurious of materials. No cost was speared in making Mardiosa one of the most comfortable yacht cruising the oceans. After 4 years of dry dock, overhaul and upgrades, in 2018 Fun Runner was christened Mardiosa.
